Botanical Cyanotypes workshop

Missing the bright colours and blooming flowers of summer? Bring a bit of brightness back at our Cyanotype Print workshop! This specialist workshop will teach you the simple printing cyanotype process, using pressed flowers and UV light to create beautiful prints – plus, you’ll have the chance to learn all about the plants growing at Bradgate with horticulture practitioner, Hafsah. Discover the structure of flowers, learn about the anatomy of wildflowers, and find out about how pollinators interact with these plants in this unique 1h workshop in the heart of Bradgate Park.

' Hafsah is a horticulturist based in Leicester who has been immersed in the world of plants for the past 5 years, working with them to design gardens, grow food, create art, make medicine and lots more. Through her workshops Hafsah is passionate about sharing what she has learnt about plants to facilitate people in reconnecting with nature and taking what they have learnt to explore and engage further with the natural world
